Where is this camera located? What direction does it face? It's fantastic to have a camera above the valley fog. Thanks!
Reply: It's located on Fielder Mountain and looks almost exactly west over town.

We are going to be travelling from BC to Aizona. I can't download the webcam at work here for some reason. Just wondering about the snow conditions.

This site is awesome, thanks. Not only are the temps accurate for the valley floor but you have the awesome web cam just high enough we can see if its valley fog or actually cloud cover. Again, thank you very much for having this site available to us.

Wow! A great camera view. I have relatives that I need to keep track of and this is a great view into the weather and most helpful! I am guessing the smoke plume dead center is by the cement plant near the redwood Hwy. from the view point?

My Thanks! Toast

The camera was just having some light come, now its not there. I think the snow probably snowed up the camera, covering it.
Reply: Snow does get blown into and packed in the front of the camera enclosure. It usually falls off in a few days.

Great site, What is the street on the Center of the shot?
Reply: If you mean the one going up and down that is Redwood Highway. The diagonal one in the lower center is Interstate 5.

From what I see here (which is nothing)you may be better served by installing an infrared camera Shocked
Reply: The issue is clouds around the mountain top.
